Our Methodology / Dark Gift Combat

From Mr. Traylor:
First and foremost, this isn’t about comparing people or organizations—it's about the information itself. It doesn’t matter whether you’re special forces, a S.W.A.T officer, or even a Martial Arts Instructor; the key question is whether the information makes sense and whether we believe this approach is the best way forward. Your resume doesn’t validate the information—the information stands on its own merit. There’s no intention here to discredit anyone or any company. The challenges Security officers, law enforcement and civilians face, especially from an defensive tactics perspective,
are significant and deserve a certain level of respect across the defensive tactics platform i.e. empty hand defensive tactics to defensive weapons tactics . That being said here we go.....

The Dark Gift Combat Fighting System (D.G.C.F.S.) unveils the true nature behind all traditional martial arts and combat sports systems. As a result, we proudly stand as the most controversial, misunderstood, imitated, and  to some extent envied system worldwide. Our unparalleled achievements in human conflict are difficult to replicate.

We are embraced by those who seek truth in combat and shunned by those who fail to understand our scientific approach. We hold nothing back in our exploration of human conflict.

When you or your loved one's survival is at stake, D.G.C.F.S. stands alone to safeguard your life.

Dark Gift Combat Fighting System is a reality-based,                                                                                                     combat scenario-driven training program that sets itself apart from                                                                                                 traditional martial arts and sport MMA. Unlike traditional martial arts,                                                                                             which demand years of dedication, our methods are engineered for
rapid proficiency, enabling individuals to quickly master practical skills
for real-world situations. Unlike sport MMA, which focuses on point
scoring or achieving tapouts within specific rules, our training readies
individuals for the chaos and unpredictability of real-life confrontations.

Our approach is unapologetically rooted in reality, emphasizing offensive weapon tactics over mere defense. Our comprehensive curriculum covers the use of edged weapons, firearms, blunt force weapons, ground combatives, and improvised weapons. With a proven track record of training military, government, law enforcement, and private security professionals, our instructors deliver methods that are brutally effective in high-stakes scenarios.

At the core of Dark Gift Combat is the Progressive Fighting Systems (PFS) methodology, developed by Paul Vunak, R.A.T. "Rappid Assault Tactics" which the navy SEALS used, which incorporates the most effective military combatives technology. These principles and techniques have been rigorously tested and proven in real-world scenarios, equipping our students with the skills and mindset necessary to handle a wide range of threats and challenges, whether in civilian, law enforcement, or military contexts.

Our training program integrates a diverse range of martial arts and combat systems, including Apache knife fighting, Filipino Combat Systems, catch wrestling from Eric Paulson, Balintawak, Sambo, Chinese fast wrestling, Aikido, Muay Thai, Muay Boran, and several other subsystems. This comprehensive approach ensures that our students are equipped with a versatile skill set for various combat scenarios.

Mr. Traylor has skillfully integrated these systems to provide an unparalleled, reality-based defensive tactics program for security personnel, law enforcement officers, and civilians alike.

Five Weapons of Combat

Our training program delves into the nuanced dynamics of the Five Weapons of Combat, recognizing their significance in diverse confrontational scenarios.

The Fist Weapon, THE MIND is the most powerful weapon in self-defense, far surpassing any physical tool or technique. It equips individuals with the ability to anticipate threats, remain calm under pressure, and make quick, strategic decisions. Mental preparedness involves awareness of one's surroundings, the ability to assess situations accurately, and the psychological resilience to respond effectively in dangerous scenarios. By cultivating a sharp and focused mind, one can avoid potential conflicts, de-escalate tense situations, and, when necessary, employ physical defense tactics with precision and control. Ultimately, mastering the mental aspects of self-defense can be the key to ensuring personal safety.
The
second Weapon, the BODY, encompasses all forms of unarmed hand-to-hand combat, fostering proficiency in close-quarters engagements.

The Third Weapon the  STICK category includes a spectrum of objects resembling sticks, staffs, or improvised alternatives, amplifying our training's versatility.

The Fourth Weapon is EDGE WEAPON proficiency addresses various forms of edged weapons, equipping participants to navigate threats involving knives, glass, or other sharp objects.
Lastly,
The Fifth Weapon the FIREARM category covers handguns, rifles, and assault rifles, providing comprehensive knowledge in firearm tactics.
