Special Operation Selection Class

Is your security firm interested in establishing a Fugitive Recovery Task Force or a S.O.R.T. / C.I.R.T. Division?
A.T.I.  offers assistance to achieve just that!

Our Special Operation Selection Class (SOSC) course presents one of the most rigorous selection processes for individuals aspiring to become either C.I.R.T. or Fugitive Recovery Task Force Officers. Over the span of 12 TO 16 weeks, this course, led by Mr. Traylor  is meticulously designed to reliably forecast successful completion of the Special Operation Selection Class and prepare candidates for service in S.O.R.T. / C.I.R.T. or Fugitive Recovery Task Force operations.

SOSC employs a personalized assessment approach aimed at identifying candidates capable of meeting the requirements of the SOSC (trainable) and suitable for field service. This systematic procedure evaluates candidates against job-related dimensions specific to S.O.R.T. / C.I.R.T. or Fugitive Recovery Task Force operations, particularly in urban settings. The assessment process is centered on both performance and behavior, consisting of two phases:

  1. Individual inventories and individual application.

  2. A team application phase based on subjective behavioral assessment.

The team application phase is crafted to elicit observable and measurable behaviors aligned with the attributes and discipline expected of S.O.R.T. / C.I.R.T. or Fugitive Recovery Task Force members. These measurements, with weighted effects and attributes, contribute to the development of a candidate profile utilized for assessment and selection purposes.

Attendance suitability for SOSC is determined by evaluating candidates' abilities across various attributes, including intelligence, physical fitness, motivation, trainability, judgment, and influence throughout the course.
